Can you repost how to navigate Substack? 10% happier is no longer listing your podcasts. I really like listening to your podcasts -and would go to the 10% happier app and click on podcasts and they would all be there. Easy to see and click on. Now on Substack I feel like it’s too many steps and your stuff is intermixed with “recommended “. Thanks!
Hi Cathy! The easiest way to see all the podcasts on your phone is to connect it to your pod player of choice (Apple, Spotify, Pocket Casts). If you click the button above "set up ad-free podcast" that will show you how to do it, and you will automatically get all the new episodes as they air.
You also can go to the "podcast" tab on the homepage here, but unfortunately that is only possible via browser/desktop, not the Substack app.
I noticed straight away when the podcasts disappeared from the app. It felt to me that the new format might be more appealing to those with a shorter attention span, but it is not what I appreciated about the app originally.
I am also going through a tough letting go process and I look forward to the new form your podcast will take.
It’s very interesting how much of the value in the app for me came from the podcast. Thank you for continuing.
I've been waiting for this since you foreshadowed a March change for the podcast some time ago. Hurray! Love that it's still available free with ads, and love being a paid insider. =)
Dan, I appreciate your podcast so much, and I am really glad that we're back to a simple connection between your Substack presence and the podcast. RE: The rerun of your conversation with Carole and David, my "yes and" would be to address that many of us need to improve communication with people who have more positional power than we do. To address that sort of thing directly in every episode (which you have done periodically) would be great. I understand that your core demographic is likely people *with* positional power/influence/means, but perhaps all the more reason to share that additional dimension? Thank you very much for the work you do.
This is great news! I have a question though. In Happier, I could search all of the podcasts that I had designated as a “favorite”. Is there a way to do that on this platform? I hope so :)
The Overcast link is not working for me. It did launch the app when I clicked the link two different times but nothing happened once it opened and the podcast still has ads. I’m a paid subscriber. Thanks
Question for fellow 10%ers: Anyone have a good recommendation for a free podcast app for Android that lets you listen to everything (i.e. not just stuff that's explicitly set up on their platform like Wondery seems to be)? I'm trying to get away from Spotify as much as possible.
Thank you Dan!
The podcast gets better and better and enjoy the weekly listen during my drive time🌻☮️

Hi Cathy, here is the video I made when we started the Substack! https://www.danharris.com/p/open-this-if-youre-finding-substack?utm_source=publication-search

Me too — the podcast was honestly my reason for subscribing

Thanks Dad, just did it.

Another option I use is an app called Pocket Casts. You might try that?
And while I haven't tried it yet, I know Overcast is another app people like to use.
Amazon Music carries podcasts - for free with ads, or ad-free if you are a Prime member.
