Thanks for sharing some non election content. Just an idea, it would be great to have a permanent page of resources for courses and books you / guests recommend (unless that already exists...?). Also retreats for those based in Europe!
Yay! Welcome. I am also new to Substack. I joined when Dan started, but haven't really used the app before. It's taken a while to figure it out and I wish there was a PC version of it. But welcome to the sangha Ingrid. - Have a great weekend.
I love following Dan and I'm bring 8 people to hear him at Troutbeck. Since going to Substack, I have been overwhelmed and unsure how/where to read/listen to Dan. (substack, danharris.com, f/b, instagram). For instance, there was a live talk and by the time I found how to get it, it was over. Is there one place I can find everything? Thanks Dan for all you do.
Hi Joanne, I'm Dan's IT guy. I'm sorry you're having trouble and sorry in advance for the long response. All of the live meditations are usually uploaded directly to Dan's homepage about 2 hours after they air give or take some time. As for the "where" with Dan, danharris.com is a part of the Substack platform, its most easily accessed by just going to his URL. A lot of the problem people are running into is that this platform pushes everything else on to you and it makes it difficult to find him so my advice to everyone who may be reading this is, the second you're in substack on the app of the site, click on your profile icon and go straight into the danharris.com page. It may help to play around in the app when you have some free time! And if none of this is helpful, here is the link to a video I made that may ease the technological suffering lol:
I was pleasantly surprised to see your lead item was the Die Antwoord story. I stumbled across it a few weeks ago and watched - and absolutely loved it. I also used to feel perplexed by these two, I was intrigued by them but never really learned much until this film. Great recommendation!
These Friday postings are such a gift. Bright spot in an otherwise dark week. Thanks Dan!
